Ongoing engineering partnership with a luxury watch subscription club: modernizing their admin platform and building new member experiences, from event tooling to a weekly sports pick'em game.

Overview

Johnston Software Development is the ongoing engineering partner for a luxury watch subscription club, working alongside their in-house team to modernize a long-running platform while shipping new features for members and staff.

Admin platform: a new Next.js and TypeScript admin application built alongside the existing PHP system. It shares the same data and sign-in, so workflows move over one at a time instead of in a risky all-at-once migration.

Event tooling: rebuilt tools for the club's signature watch events, including a visual event builder, event duplication, bulk CSV import and live margin visibility, so the team can set up events faster and with fewer mistakes.

Member games: a weekly NFL pick'em game with live leaderboards and scoring, plus an admin panel with automated schedule imports and kickoff-time checks.

Member services: an in-app feedback tool feeding a live triage queue, and a customer service portal that helps the team catch shipping, replacement and return issues before members have to ask.
